Installing this by myself, it took I think 2-3 days. A week or two goes by when I finally summon the courage to cut up the trim and carpet around the roll bar itself. Wasn’t too bad I think.

just lowered the car a bit more today. now the fender is just barely covering the top of the tires in a static stance without me in it. but now i scrape a heck of a lot more too. i actually got stuck in my friend’s driveway tonight because it’s kind of a steep incline, and at the end of the drive way there’s a hump that i have to get over. it still scares the hell out of me scraping though.

Gonna go a bit lower when I’m not too lazy.

The window is fixed! This was a lead fitting on the end of the cable that decided to come off; my cable didn’t snap after all, thank goodness. Made a replacement out of brass, made it to same size, mended the cable, put it together and dipped it into a solder pool. Seems to hold tight enough. Only time will tell! Gotta grease it up now.

God damn it, I rounded the nut on the hard line that goes to the slave cylinder. Those things are so stupid… but at least the master cylinder didn’t give me as much trouble. I guess the only thing I don’t like about the Miata is that because it’s so small, everything is packaged so tightly, so there’s not much elbow room to get that leverage you may need. Gonna consider my options on what I want to do now about it. Bah, set backs..
